Harish Rao slams Congress for unfulfilled promises in last 100 days
Harish Rao lamented the increase in suicides among farmers and auto drivers, totaling 174 and 30 respectively, during the Congress' 100-day rule
HYDERABAD: BRS leader Harish Rao slammed the Congress for its failure to fulfill its election promises during the last 100 days of its rule. Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan, he alleged that while BRS president KCR provided kits, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy engaged in trading insults.
Rao described the 100-day tenure as resembling three trials and six persecutions. He questioned the Congress Government over implementation of farmer loan waivers and slammed them for failure to deliver existing support pensions.

Contrasting KCR's efforts to elevate Telangana's status with Reddy's focus on exacerbating drought conditions, Rao highlighted the scarcity of drinking water during the Congress regime. He pointed out instances of empty utensils and water tankers, which were not seen during KCR's tenure. Rao lamented the increase in suicides among farmers and auto drivers, totaling 174 and 30 respectively, during the Congress' 100-day rule.
He alleged that Congress had promised to demolish Pragati Bhavan and replace it with a knowledge center. However, now Deputy Chief Minister Batti Vikramarka occupied the space.
