Harish Rao supports farmers protesting against Pharma City in Sangareddy
Former Minister Harish Rao visited Dappur village to support farmers opposing Pharma City project.
ZAHEERABAD: Former Minister T Harish Rao visited Dappur village in Nyalkal Mandal of Sangareddy district on Thursday to extend his support to farmers protesting against the proposed Pharma City project. Harish Rao’s visit aimed to reassure the farmers, who have been vocal about their refusal to give up their land for the project.
During his journey to Zaheerabad, Harish Rao was warmly welcomed by BRS leaders at Isnapur. In Dappur, several local women, including Lakshmi, Lalitha, and Lalitamma, spoke with Harish Rao, firmly stating their opposition to the project. They expressed their determination not to surrender their land for Pharma City, even if it cost them their lives.
Harish Rao was accompanied with MLAs Manik Rao and Chinta Prabhakar, and other BRS leaders.
