Hasn’t Congress govt paid salaries to 1,60,083 staff hired in BRS regime? asks Padi Kaushik Reddy

HYDERABAD: BRS Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy has accused the Congress Government of false propaganda regarding jobs during the campaign for Telangana elections. Speaking to the media on Friday, Kaushik Reddy said, "Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Prof Kodandaram had campaigned that the KCR Government did not provide jobs for ten years. But on January 4, the Congress leaders said that they gave salaries to 1,60,083 people. Didn't we give all those jobs?"

Accusing the Congress Government of coming to power on false promises, Kaushik said, "People were fooled into believing the lies of the Congress. Revanth Reddy had announced that he would provide two lakh jobs by the end of December 2024. We demand Revanth Reddy to announce a job calendar for those two lakh jobs as mentioned in the Congress party's election manifesto.

"In united Andhra Pradesh, the Congress had given only 24,000 jobs of which only 10,000 were given to people in Telangana. But the BRS Government provided employment to two lakh people. This credit goes to KCR. Also, BRS had provided more than ten lakh IT jobs in ten years, much more than the Congress. Along with this there was no power holiday for industries during the BRS regime," Kaushik Reddy.
