Houses in Rajendranagar submerged due to floods, officials unresponsive

HYDERABAD: Several houses in Mithila Nagar and Satya Sai Nagar areas of Meerpet in Rajendranagar were submerged after heavy flooding caused by a malfunctioning drainage pipeline.

The failure of the nala pipeline led to severe waterlogging, leaving multiple homes inundated.

Residents expressed their frustration, alleging that officials failed to respond to the situation. Despite repeated complaints, no action had been taken by local authorities to address the issue, causing significant distress among the affected families. Locals called for immediate intervention to prevent further damage and losses.
