Hyderabad police enforce timings for heavy vehicles to curb traffic violations

HYDERABAD: Authorities are taking action against heavy vehicle operators who violate traffic rules, contributing to road accidents and traffic jams in Hyderabad.
To address these issues, police have established specific timings for the movement of heavy vehicles starting in January. Despite these regulations, some heavy vehicles continue to flout the rules. According to the police, local and heavy vehicles are prohibited from entering the city after 7 AM, while private buses are not allowed entry after 8 AM. These regulations are applicable on 94 routes throughout Hyderabad.
