Hyderabad-Tirupati flight avoids major mishap, makes emergency landing
A Hyderabad-Tirupati flight carrying 66 passengers made an emergency landing due to a technical issue near Ontimitta, YSR district.
HYDERABAD: A Hyderabad-Tirupati flight narrowly avoided a major mishap after a technical issue was detected mid-air near Ontimitta in Andhra Pradesh’s YSR district. The pilot immediately informed the Air Traffic Control (ATC) and requested permission for an emergency landing.
The flight, which had taken off from Shamshabad Airport, was cleared for an emergency landing back at Shamshabad. The aircraft, carrying 66 passengers, returned safely to the airport, and all passengers were reported to be unharmed, according to the airline staff.
The flight crew acted swiftly to manage the situation, ensuring no injuries or harm occurred during the emergency return.
