"I am not afraid of your threats, Revanth Reddy," says KTR
KTR vents out at Revanth Reddy after Congress workers attack his convoy and strongly reaffirms that he would always stand by the victims of Musi project.
HYDERABAD: "I am not scared of your hollow intimidations, Revanth Reddy. I have come here to challenge you," declared BRS working president K Taraka Rama Rao on Tuesday, in response to an attack on his convoy by Congress workers.
KTR fired a strong riposte at Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, warning him that he was unafraid of such actions.
KTR again reiterated that nothing could reduce his commitment towards the political support of the suffering residents of the Musi project. "No bulldozer can silence the voice of the poor as long as I stand by them," he said, also not forgetting to mention that no "goonda raj" could break his spirit. The attack on his vehicle, however strengthened his determination, he added. "There is no stepping back," KTR said firmly.
Earlier, Congress workers tried to block and attack KTR's convoy at Musheerabad when he was going to meet the Musi project victims in Amberpet. However, security personnel and BRS workers intervened. Yet some Congress protesters continued their aggressive behavior; they even climbed on to the vehicle of KTR, at last BRS supporters succeeded in dispelling them.
After the incident, KTR went to Tulasi Ram Nagar in Amberpet where heard the grievances of Musi project victims and assured them of continued support.
