HYDERABAD: The Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad ranked number one in 'The Economist 2022' survey, in the latest edition of full-time MBA rankings. It was ranked 5th in Asia and 75th across the globe.
Deputy Dean Professor Ramabhadran Thirumalai said here on Friday that this achievement was possible by adopting innovative educational approaches. The ISB was ranked fifth worldwide in the "Open New Career Opportunities" category, which included recruiter diversity, percentage of job-seeking graduates with a job offer within three months after graduation, and career service alumni ratings.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his convocation address at the ISB last month said that the world recognised India as a synonym for business.
In 1998, some of the Fortune 500 companies decided to jointly launch a business school. They wanted the organisation to be able to meet the leadership needs of emerging Asian economies. With this, the attempt to set up IBA in Hyderabad was successful.
