IT Dept conducts raids at multiple locations in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Income Tax department officials launched a series of raids early Tuesday morning at various locations across Hyderabad, including Kukatpally, Banjara Hills Check Post, and Madhapur. The raids targeted both residential and business premises, with a focus on potential financial irregularities.

One of the key locations raided was the residence of Bolla Ramakrishna, head of BRK News Channel, who also operates businesses in finance, healthcare, and real estate. IT officers, divided into ten teams, conducted thorough searches, with eight officers specifically inspecting Ramakrishna’s apartment in Rainbow Vistas, Kukatpally. Documents related to financial transactions are being scrutinised as part of the investigation.

The raids are part of a broader probe into income discrepancies and possible tax evasions.
