Jana Sena asks choreographer Jani Master to stay away from party activities after sexual harassment allegations

HYDERABAD: Jana Sena has asked choreographer Jani Master to stay away from all party activities following allegations of sexual harassment. A police case has been registered against him at the Raidurgam police station.

The party leadership announced the decision, stating that he must stay away from party programs immediately. Jana Sena leader Vemula Ajay Kumar issued a statement confirming the move.

The complaint was filed by a woman who had been working as an assistant choreographer under Johnny Master for the past six months. She accused him of sexually harassing her on multiple occasions, including at his residence in Narsingi during an outdoor shooting. The victim, originally from Madhya Pradesh, also alleged that Jani Master assaulted and injured her during these incidents.

The Raidurgam police registered a case under Sections 376, 506, and 323 (2) of the IPC and transferred the investigation to the Narsingi police station. This is not the first time Jani Master has faced legal trouble. In 2019, he was sentenced to six months in jail by the Medchal court for an assault case involving a woman in 2015. Last year, another choreographer named Satish accused him of harassment over film opportunities.

Currently, Johnny Master is reportedly absconding after the latest case was filed against him.
