JANGAON: Outsourcing workers from the MCH Hospital in Janagaon have taken to the streets, protesting against the non-payment of their salaries for the past six months.
The workers, who handle various services at the hospital, expressed their frustration, citing difficulties in paying their children's school fees and celebrating festivals like Dussehra without receiving even one month’s salary.
The protesting workers have urged officials to take immediate action by replacing the current contractor. They also appealed to the District Collector to ensure that their salaries are paid on time, specifically requesting that they receive their wages by the 5th of every month. The workers emphasised that their financial hardships have become unbearable, and they need swift intervention.
