NAGARKURNOOL: BJP National President J P Nadda on Monday called the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government a corrupt regime and accused its supremo and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) of running a family rule in the State. He said that lotus should bloom in the State and asked the public to vote for the BJP if they really wanted a development-oriented government in the State.

Addressing a public meeting in Nagarkurnool, Nadda alleged that the State was being ruled by KCR and his corrupt family. He claimed that the country had been prospering under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in true spirit of ‘sab ka saath sab ka vikas’ where the poor were being fast alleviated of their plight. He also claimed that Modi had granted a lot of funds to Telangana and worked for the development of the State.

Calling on the people to vote for the BJP in the next elections to end the BRS misrule, Nadda

said, " Under Modi's rule, poverty has come down from 20 percent to below 10 percent. Four crore houses have been built for the poor and many more crores of people have been provided with health insurance with a coverage upto Rs 5 lakhs through the Ayushman scheme. Modi has dedicated his life to the service of the poor."

Nadda also paid tributes to the activists who died fighting for a separate Telangana. He said that it was unfortunate that after attaining statehood, only one family was benefitting at the expense of the others in the State.

The BJP national president termed the BRS a 'Brastachar Rakshana Samithi' and promised that his party would scrap the Dharani portal in the State if voted to power. He added that even when the world was reeling under economic crisis due to the Russia-Ukraine war besides bearing the brunt of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indian economy remained stable, because of the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Nadda said that, while world leaders were hailing Modi as a global leader, opposition parties including the Congress belittled him as a ‘chai wala’ and ‘uneducated’. He claimed that the 140 crore people of the country supported the Prime Minister for bringing about all-encompassing development and enhancing India’s image globally.
