KCR arrives in Nanded to rousing welcome ahead of historic meeting

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao received a rousing welcome in Nanded, Maharashtra, where he is scheduled to address a public meeting on Sunday evening.

KCR was welcomed in Nanded by Telangana Minister Indrakaran Reddy, BRS leader Balka Suman, Vittal Reddy and Shakeel and several other prominent BRS leaders.

The roads leading to the BRS meeting venue in Nanded town have turned pink. The gigantic hoardings, balloons, and stickers arranged in a row astound everyone.

Several BRS and KCR flags and signboards were placed at the Gurdwara grounds to welcome BRS supremo. A massive tent was also erected to accommodate the large crowds expected at the public meeting.

Leaders of numerous Maharashtra political parties would join the BRS Party on Sunday during a public meeting in Nanded, Maharashtra, in the presence of Telangana Chief Minister and Party President K. Chandrashekar Rao.

Following his arrival in Nanded, Chief Minister KCR and other senior BRS leaders held prayers at a well-known Gurdwara in Nanded prior to the large gathering at the Gurdwara grounds.

This is the second public meeting after Khammam, and the first outside the state, since the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) was renamed Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) (BRS).

Several national leaders, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, along with Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party and D Raja of the Communist Party of India, attended the BRS's first public rally on January 18 in Khammam.
