KHAMMAM:Former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had tea and ‘Mirchi’ at a small hotel near Yellampet stage Thanda on his way to Khammam from Warangal on the sixth day of his ‘Poru Baata Bus Yatra’ on Monday.
The owner of the small hotel expressed happiness when KCR arrived at his hotel and said that he would have whatever was available at the hotel. The lady of the hotel served the BRS chief with Telangana’s favourite pass time ‘Mirchi”.
KCR also had a cup of tea and enquired about the welfare of the hotel owner's family. Meanwhile, Thanda sarpanch Lalsingh and several others reached there and met KCR. They said that none of the farmers in the Thanda or the nearby villages received Rytu Bandhu. Few complained that there was erratic power and their crops dried due to lack of irrigation.
