KCR built Yadadri temple but never used religion for political gain like Narendra Modi: KTR

HYDERABAD: Calling upon voters to defeat communal BJP in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) said that the national party did nothing for Telangana.
Addressing a cadre meeting of the Medchal constituency in Medipalli on Wednesday, KTR said that even though K Chandrashekar Rao built the Yadadri temple, he never used the name of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy for political gains like Narendra Modi used the name of Shri Rama for building Ayodhya temple.
“BRS has devotion towards Lord Shri Ram, but we will never use his name for votes like Narendra Modi and the BJP does. Lord Rama doesn't belong only to the BJP, I have Ram in my name too,” KTR said. On the contrary, Narendra Modi could be described as the most inhuman Prime Minister as he didn't even arrange trains for the migrant labour to reach their home towns during Covid, he said.
“On the contrary, KCR arranged food and transport for the migrant labour,” KTR observed. Criticising PM Modi for arm-twisting political opponents to join the BJP, KTR said that even Chief Ministers of the country were forced to toe the line of the BJP.
KTR said that the BJP was trying to scuttle the voice of the BRS in the Parliament. “But only the BRS could air the voice of Telangana in the Parliament. Why shall we vote for Kishan Reddy who could not help the development of the Bhadradri and Ghatkesar temples?” KTR said.
Pointing out that the Narendra Modi Government waived Rs 15 lakh crore worth of debt of his crony capitalists, and did nothing for the debt-ridden poor farmers. “Both Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had this nefarious plan to decimate the BRS. Revanth Reddy had chalked plans to join the BJP just after the Lok Sabha elections. He loves Modi more than Rahul Gandhi,” KTR said.
