KCR contesting from Kamareddy to fulfill aspirations of local farmers, says KTR

KAMAREDDY: BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) has said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) is contesting from Kamareddy, only to fulfill the aspirations of the farmers in the region.
Speaking at the Praja Ashirwada Sabha in Bikanur, KTR said, "KCR will be filing his nomination on the 9th of this month. I urge people to be vigilant and not be swayed by the promises made by the BJP. If other parties offer money, accept it but cast your vote only for the BRS for betterment of the State."
Condeming the Congress party, KTR mentioned that Telangana was granted by the grand old party under certain conditions only after a struggle and suicides of thousand students. KTR questioned why the Congress party failed to deliver on basic necessities like electricity and water during their 55-year rule.
Reacting to Rahul Gandhi's remarks attributing the Telangana elections between feudal lords and people, KTR said that the ongoing election battle was one between arrogant Delhi leaders and the people of the grassroots.
