KCR launches BRS candle rally from Gun Park to Telangana Martyrs Memorial near Secretariat

HYDERABAD: Former Chief Minister and BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao offered floral tributes to those who sacrificed their lives for the Statehood of Telangana at the Gun Park on Saturday. He lit a lamp launching the candle rally to Telangana Martyrs Memorial near the State Secretariat.
BRS working president KT Rama Rao, former Ministers T Harish Rao, Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, and Satyavathi Rathod also offered floral tributes and participated in the rally along with hundreds of BRS activists.
Speaking to media KTR said that it was unfortunate that a person like Revanth Reddy who never uttered the word ‘Jai Telangana’ became the Chief Minister of the State.
“It is rather demeaning that such a CM is organising the formation day celebrations tomorrow. That is why the BRS decided to boycott the celebrations,” KTR said. He added that the BRS president wrote a detailed letter to the CM explaining the reasons for the boycott.
Answering a question on the exit poll results, the working president said that he would rather wait for the results on June 4.
