HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been collaborating for the past eight years, said TPCC President Revanth Reddy on Tuesday.

Revanth Reddy told the media in Delhi on Tuesday that the Central and State Governments are like two sides of a coin. Both the BRS and the BJP are engaged in power-playing.

He said, "Their drama was indeed obvious, and the people of Telangana are watching it. KCR purchased some media outlets in Telangana. That is why Congress is establishing the government on public issues as a social media platform ".

"Telangana Chief Minister KCR coined the phrase Ab Ki Bar Kisan Sarkar. But KCR's family has a long history with alcohol. That's why we called him ab ki bar liquor sarkar. Telangana's government revenue from liquor had increased from Rs.10,500 crores to Rs 36,000 crores'', Revanth Reddy added.

Revanth Reddy said, "We clearly stated that if KCR was given another chance. He would establish a liquor government".

Revanth criticised the KCR government, saying, "Late at night, 200 policemen arrived at our war room in Muftis. How do they enter a party war room without notifying anyone or filing a formal complaint? Our leaders were detained there even before we arrived. Do you want BRS to become the Telangana Bihar State Committee? Does KCR want to bring Modi rule in Telangana?".

"Last night, five people were arrested in connection with this case. Their whereabouts are still unknown. We petitioned the court for habeas corpus. If they do not respond properly, we will go to the people and topple the government ", stated Revanth Reddy.
