KCR nominates T Padma Rao Goud for Secunderabad Lok Sabha Constituency

HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief K Chandrashekar Rao declared the name of Thigulla Padma Rao Goud as the party candidate for the Secunderabad Lok Sabha Constituency. Padma Rao Goud is currently representing the Secunderabad Assembly Constituency for the BRS.

The unanimous decision to field Padma Rao Goud came after a thorough discussion with the BRS leaders and other MLAs. Fondly called ‘Pajjanna’, Padma Rao Goud had been a staunch loyalist to KCR since the days of agitation for separate statehood.

He was a Member of the Legislative Assembly from Secunderabad for the third consecutive term. He was the former Minister for Excise & Prohibition, Sports & Youth Affairs and former Deputy Speaker of Telangana Legislative Assembly.
