After inaugurating the Integrated District Offices Complex, the Chief Minister addressed the district officials and said that the 24th one would be inaugurated in Medak in a few days.
He said that Telangana today achieved the highest per capita income among big states in the country and also ranked number one in per capita power consumption, indicating the development it achieved after the formation of the State.
Calling upon the collectorate staff to continue their quest for excellence, the Chief Minister said that still there were issues to fight for such as equality and equitable distribution of income among all sections of.
“Now there is no hunger in Telangana and no suicides. People are living in peace. We have enough water now and the fluoride problem has been eliminated completely and now even the Centre declared us as zero fluorosis state, kudos to Mission Bhagiratha,” he said.
Applauding the team effort of the Government employees in the State, he said: “It is the same group of employees, officers State and All-India service officers, but we became a ‘team’ now, and progressive people should not relax,” he said.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated the Government Medical College, 164-shop integrated veg non-veg model market, Superintendent of Police office, and the district Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party headquarters in Suryapet.
