HYDERABAD: Telangana Minister for IT, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) on Wednesday extended his heart-felt greetings to the party leaders and activists on the occasion of the inauguration of the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) central office in Delhi. He said that K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), who had put Telangana on an irreversible path of growth and development after realising the dream of a separate state, had taken the plunge into national politics to bring about a qualitative change in the country. The man, who had chosen the revolutionary path to fight for the statehood cause in the past, has now embarked on setting a new trend in politics for the larger benefit of the country, he felt.

KTR disclosed that he was unable to attend the inauguration of the BRS in Delhi because of pre-determined official engagements and that he had obtained special permission from the Chief Minister for this. He had to take this decision as he was scheduled to attend two key investment meetings. KTR also cited the Cooperative Electricity Supply Society (CESS) elections, the nominations for which were due on Wednesday, as another reason for skipping the Delhi event.
