KARIMNAGAR: BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) will continue with his ‘Polam Baata’ tour to assess the extent of crop damage in the State with a visit to the erstwhile Karimnagar district on April 5, 2024.

Karimnagar former legislator Gangula Kamalakar said here on Monday that the BRS chief would visit Maqdumpur, Choppadandi, and Vemulawada before addressing media at BRS district headquarters in Sircilla.

KCR would personally interact with farmers in these villages and en route to understand the extent of crop damage in the Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency. During the visit, KCR would venture into the drought-hit paddy fields and console the farmers.

KCR already visited Nalgonda, Yadadri, Jangaon, and Suryapet on Sunday and interacted with the farmers. He ensured farmers that the BRS would stand with them till the Government responded and paid them a compensation of Rs 25,000 per acre. BRS cadres would meet District collectors and submit memorandums demanding a Rs 500 bonus per quintal of paddy
