KTR condemns third degree by police on BRS cadre for raising Jai Telangana slogans

PARAKALA : BRS working president KT Rama Rao made a stop at Parakala on way to Medigadda and met party actvists who were allegedly tortured by the police for raising Jai Telangana slogans.

He called District SP Amber Kishore Jha and conveyed his anger and said that BRS would fight against police excesses legally and through human rights organisations.

Assuring the injured actvists that the party would be firmly behind them he said that the police succumbed to the pressure exerted by the Congress Government and were resorting to such heinous crimes.

“BRS workers were called to police station and were tortured. The cruel acts are continuing despite the suspension of the officer responsible,” KTR said.
