HYDERABAD: BRS working president K Taraka Rama Rao has criticised the Congress party for the deteriorating conditions in government hostels across the state.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), KTR highlighted the urgent need for change, pointing out the worsening situation under the present Congress rule.

He recounted a tragic incident in Bhuvanagiri, where a student's life was endangered after consuming contaminated food at a social welfare school. In another case, 20 students from Komatipalli hostels were hospitalised after a lizard fell into their Upma. Students at Sultanpur JNTU hostel were similarly horrified to find a hamster in their chutney.

"Who will guarantee the lives of students consuming such food? Where is the reassurance for their worried parents?" KTR questioned, emphasising the grave consequences of the current situation.

KTR condemned the Congress government for its disorganised administration, which he blamed for the hospitalisation of children who should otherwise be enjoying their childhood. He urged the government to take immediate action to rectify these failures, warning that the future of the nation's citizens is at risk and that ignoring these issues could lead to further tragedies.
