KTR for faster distribution of 2BHK houses
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has completed the construction of 60,000 two-bedroom houses under the 2bhk Housing Scheme of the Telangana Government.

HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has completed the construction of 60,000 two-bedroom houses under the 2bhk Housing Scheme of the Telangana Government.
Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao has urged officials to speed up the process of providing these houses to the homeless.
KTR conducted a review meeting today at the Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited, Nanakramguda office and weighed up the progress in the construction of the one lakh houses under the scheme and also discussed the process of providing them to the beneficiaries.
"In order to formulate the guidelines, steps should be taken to ensure that the beneficiaries are selected by taking the comprehensive family survey information available with the state government as standard" KTR said.
He also said that large-scale teams should be formed for programs such as field level identification and verification required for selection of beneficiaries.
Senior officials of Municipal Administration, Housing and GHMC participated in this meeting.
