KTR sends legal notice to Bandi Sanjay over defamatory comments
KTR has demanded an unconditional apology from Bandi Sanjay for allegedly defamatory remarks within a week.
HYDERABAD: BRS Working President K Taraka Rama Rao has issued a legal notice to Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay, over remarks that he claims are defamatory. KTR stated that these comments were damaging to his reputation and demanded an unconditional apology within a week.
In the notice, KTR pointed out that Bandi Sanjay's allegations were baseless and defamatory. He described the statements as an attempt to tarnish his personal and public image. KTR further warned that if the apology is not issued within the stipulated time, legal action would follow.
KTR emphasised that the comments were made with malicious intent, aiming to bring disrepute to him. He also insisted that there were no grounds for such allegations and warned that any further defamatory statements would result in legal consequences. He demanded a public apology for the false accusations, adding that failure to do so would lead to a defamation suit and criminal proceedings.
