KTR slams BJP's 10-year record; challenges Modi's achievements
Warned about the potential threat to Hyderabad's status as a Union Territory, KTR urged voters to support BRS candidate Vinod Kumar in Karimnagar
KARIMNAGAR: BRS working president KT Rama Rao slammed the BJP's lack of significant achievements over the past decade, alleging that they merely lay claim to the construction of the Ram Mandir.
Speaking at a roadshow in Huzurabad, Karimnagar district, KTR said, "The truth lies in the ten years of KCR's rule, while the BJP's ten years represent a period of stagnation, and the Congress' 150-day rule is marked by deceit. These three parties are in a competition for Karimnagar."
Questioning Prime Minister Modi's accomplishments over the past ten years, KTR asked, "What positive initiatives has Modi undertaken during his tenure? Even if infrastructure projects were initiated, what tangible benefits were provided to the tribals and Dalits? Has Modi contributed anything substantial?"
Referring to Modi's promises made in 2014, KTR said, "From doorstep delivery of Rs. 15 lakhs to the creation of 2 crore jobs and doubling farmers' income annually, Modi's pledges have remained unfulfilled. The BJP's sole focus seems to be the construction of the Ram Mandir, as they have little else to show for their ten years in power."
Highlighting Chief Minister KCR's achievements, KTR said, "KCR not only oversaw the construction of Yadadri temple but also initiated various modernisation projects, significantly improving the lives of Telangana residents."
Critiquing Modi's governance, KTR lamented, "Despite ruling for a decade, Modi's policies have failed to benefit any particular community. His introduction of GST dealt a blow to the handloom sector, and his tenure has seen a relentless rise in prices, including essential commodities like oil, pulses, salt, and tamarind. The exorbitant taxes on petrol and diesel have exacerbated inflation, burdening the common man."
KTR questioned Bandi Sanjay's five-year performance, asked if his advocacy for mosque demolitions overshadowed any meaningful contributions to his constituency. "Have you ever witnessed him posing questions in Parliament? Has he engaged in any activity beyond merely holding Amit Shah's footwear?" questioned KTR.
KTR slammed Revanth Reddy for failing to fulfill promises such as Rythu Bharosa, farmer loan waivers, the creation of 2 lakh jobs, and welfare schemes. The Congress' inability to fulfill these commitments exposes their intention to exploit the state for personal gain, he added.
Warned about the potential threat to Hyderabad's status as a Union Territory, KTR urged voters to support BRS candidate Vinod Kumar in Karimnagar and emphasised the importance of parliamentary representation to safeguard the city's interests.
