ADILABAD: It's been five months since the Congress came to power in Telangana, yet people have already begun to oppose the administration due to unfulfilled promises, said BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Thursday.

Addressing a roadshow in Bhainsa ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections, KTR said, "The Congress party deceived the people of Telangana with numerous promises in just five months. People should not trust the Congress again, as it has failed to deliver on its commitments made during the Telangana Assembly Elections. Do we still have faith in the Congress? Should we vote for them again? Ten years ago, the BJP also garnered votes in the Lok Sabha elections by making lofty promises.

"For those who believe Telangana would have fared better under KCR's leadership, let me share a tip. Senior leaders like Atram Sakku garu have tirelessly worked for the adivasis. If you want KCR to return and govern state politics, vote for BRS candidate Sakku for car symbol on May 13, 2024," he added.

KTR said, "In the last election, we couldn't offer the right candidates here. Let those who left our party depart. All the irrelevant elements are leaving. BJP associates term everything as Namo but 'Namo' isn't just Narendra Modi; it signifies deception. In ten years, the Prime Minister couldn't address the country's or Adilabad's needs."

"PM Modi couldn't even establish a cement factory in Adilabad or generate employment. In 2014, Modi made numerous promises - Rs. 15 lakhs in everyone's account, doubling farmers' income, and housing for all - yet none were fulfilled. The only notable achievement was the construction of a Ram temple. However, our leader KCR not only constructed the Yadadri temple but also initiated numerous modern temples like irrigation projects such as Kaleshwaram and many other projects," said KTR.
