KTR to take oath as MLA some other day, to stay with KCR
Urging the Assembly secretary to hold his oath-taking another day, he said he would take oath as an MLA after KCR recovered from the surgery.
HYDERABAD: BRS working president and former Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) informed the secretary of the Telangana Legislative Assembly that he will not be able to attend the oath-taking ceremony scheduled for Saturday due to his father and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s ill health.
KTR who was elected as an MLA from Sircilla in the recent elections could not attend the BRS Legislature Party (BRSLP) meeting held at the party headquarters on Saturday as he was preoccupied with KCR’s surgery. KCR had undergone hip replacement surgery on Friday and was advised three to four weeks of bed rest.
Urging the Assembly secretary to hold his oath-taking another day, he said he would take oath as an MLA after KCR recovered from the surgery.
