Mahmood Ali rates Telangana police as the best, Suraksha Dinotsavam rallies held

HYDERABAD: Telangana Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali has said that the police department had achieved rapid progress in the State and secured top place in the country in matters of maintenance of law and order and providing better services to the people.
The Home Minister, along with Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and DGP Anjani Kumar, flagged off a rally organized by the police department as part of the Telangana Formation Day Decennial Celebrations from Tank Bund to Ambedkar Statue. The event was organised under the name of āSuraksha Dinotsavam Rallyā in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahmood Ali said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) had accorded top priority to public safety and bolstered the police department with revolutionary changes. With this, the Telangana Police stood top in the country and secured several national awards and rewards.
The rally, which began near Tank Bund, passed through Liberty, Abids, Charminar, Telugu Thalli Statue area and culminated near Ambedkar Statue. Meanwhile, the police also displayed their patrolling and fire bridages of Telangana State Disaster Response and Fire Safety Department. Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand, Cyberabad CP Stephen Ravindra, Rachakonda CP DS Chauhan and other officials were also present.
Meanwhile, Minister for IT and Industries KT Rama Rao (KTR) took to Twitter and complimented the tireless efforts of Telangana Government in according top priority to public safety during natural calamities with the setting up of Enforcement, Vigilance and Disaster Management (EV&DM), Hyderabad, which is the first of its kind in the country. āEstablishing a department like EVDM, which takes immediate action in times of emergency and receives accolades from the public, shows the foresight of the Telangana government and its sincerity towards the safety of the people,ā he said in his tweet.

āSuraksha Dinotsavamā celebrations were held on a grand note in Warangal. On the occasion, Government Whip Vinayabhaskar and Warangal City Commissioner Ranganath flagged off a huge rally organized with police patrol vehicles, Blue Colts, fire brigade, She Team, Bharosa and traffic department vehicles.
