Man accidentally consumes acid

NIZAMABAD: In a shocking incident, a man accidentally consumed acid at a shopping mall, after the mall's staff gave him a bottle of acid instead of water on Sunday.

The man, Vijay Kumar, who consumed acid, was immediately shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad.

The incident occurred when Vijay, along with his family, who hail from Mohammad Nagar of Nizamabad, went to Gandhi Chowk Sultan Shopping Mall. Upon being thirsty, Vijay had asked a mall staffer for water. The staffer gave him the wrong bottle. He was rushed to the hospital after he complained of stomach ache.

Reportedly, a man working at the shopping mall also allegedly drank acid thinking it was packaged fresh water. He was also rushed to a hospital.

Vijay Kumar's son alleged that his father got into this situation due to the negligence of the shopping mall staff and also threatened to sue them.
