Manickam Tagore shunted to Goa, Manik Rao Thakre to be TPCC incharge

HYDERABAD: Manickam Tagore, a Congress MP, stepped down from responsibilities of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) in-charge. Tagore, according to reports, quit all related Watsapp groups on Wednesday.

However, the Congress high command appointed him as incharge of Goa. Manik Rao Thakre has been appointed the Telangana general secretary.

Manickam Tagore was very close to TPCC president A Revanth Reddy and has always face an allegation from leaders like Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, T Jayaprakash Reddy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and others that Tagore had sided with Revanth Reddy, despite the Congress losing theee bypolls under the patter’s leadership.

Tagore has been fighting the dissident snot too while keeping Revanth Reddy’s stock up in the eyes of high command.

Almost every leader has confronted Revanth Reddy and Tagore on more than one occasion. At some stage, the dissident leaders gave an impression that Tagore was the root cause for Revanth Reddy to act unilaterally and autocratically.
