HYDERABAD: A follower of Minister Konda Surekha allegedly humiliated a Circle Inspector (CI) during a government event. The incident occurred when the CI, who was part of the security detail for the minister, accidentally brushed against the minister’s aide.
In response, the aide publicly confronted the CI, questioning his identity and causing a scene in front of attendees. The incident, which took place during an official program, has drawn criticism for the inappropriate treatment of an on-duty police officer in uniform.
The officer was reportedly part of the security team assigned to ensure safety during the minister's visit. The public reprimand of the officer by Konda Surekha's aide has sparked discussions about the behaviour of political aides towards law enforcement personnel. No official complaint has been filed yet, but the incident has raised concerns over the treatment of police officials during political events.
