HYDERABAD: Jadcherla Congress MLA Anirudh Reddy has made strong remarks against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, warning that he need not come to Telangana if VIP recommendation letters from Telangana ministers and MLAs are not accepted at Tirumala.

Addressing a meeting in his constituency, Anirudh Reddy criticised the Andhra Pradesh government for allegedly refusing VIP recommendation letters from Telangana officials at Tirumala, despite Andhra Pradesh benefiting from Telangana's assets. "They want our properties, but deny us our rights at Tirumala," he said, pointing out that Andhra Pradesh had already taken Rs 15,000 crore from Telangana without objections.

Anirudh Reddy further argued that although Tirumala was historically linked to Tamil Nadu, it was handed over to Andhra Pradesh after state bifurcation. He asserted that all Telangana MLAs would unite to pressure the Andhra government to accept their VIP letters at Tirumala. He added, "Chandrababu Naidu need not come to Telangana if he cannot ensure our rights at Tirumala.
