Modi's speech proof of bond between BRS, BJP: Revanth Reddy
Revanth said, "Prime Minister Modi revealed the secret friendship between BRS and BJP in his Nizamabad rally. I ask the MIM, if they would be a friendly party to the BRS even after Modi's words."
HYDERABAD: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Revanth Reddy has alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech in Nizamabad on October 3, 2023 has proved the allegations of Congress that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are working together behind the scenes.
Speaking at the Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday, Revanth said, "Our leader Rahul Gandhi had said earlier that BRS means BJP Rishtedar Samiti. Prime Minister Modi revealed the secret friendship between BRS and BJP in his Nizamabad rally. I ask the MIM, if they would be a friendly party to the BRS even after Modi's words."
Questioning the Prime Minister over why the Centre did not conduct Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Income Tax (IT) raids against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) after calling him corrupt, Revanth said, "KCR has made BJP his partner in corruption. They are inseparable twins."
He went on the allege that a BRS MP had revealed to him that the BJP and the BRS would contest the Parliamentary alliance in an alliance. "It has come to my notice that BRS and BJP will contest the Lok Sabha polls in alliance. The BRS will contest 9 seats, BJP in 7 and AIMIM in 1."
