HYDERABAD: National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sunil Bansal said that 'Operation Akarsh', a plan to strengthen the BJP in GHMC elections, should be taken up on a war footing basis at the BJP core committee meeting in Hyderabad on Sunday.
The upcoming Munugode byelections was a key subject discussed in the meeting, wherein, it was decided that specific political strategies would be used. The 'praja-gosa-BJP bharosa' scheme and Parliamentary Pravas Yojana were reviewed. Reportedly, the BJP core committee also discussed strategies for Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Mahabubnagar MLC elections.
Sunil Bansal, reportedly, also said that Central Government schemes should be implemented in Telangana and that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government was failing to do so.
