KTR wants mobilisation of 10,000 people per constituency for Feb 17 rally

HYDERABAD: To prepare the party leaders and cadre for the upcoming new Telangana Secretariat inauguration celebrations and make the event a huge success, Minister K T Rama Rao on Thursday held a preparatory meeting with the BRS people’s representatives from Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts.
Stating that, like it happened nowhere else in the country, the new Telangana Secretariat was named after Dr B R Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, the Minister asked the leaders to organize special programmes in every constituency.
KTR said that the leaders should mobilise at least 10,000 people from every constituency in the GHMC for the meeting at the Parade Grounds, to be held after the secretariat inauguration.
He also instructed the leaders to conduct an extensive cadre meeting on February 13 in all GHMC constituencies to mobilise the public for the meeting.
Senior MLAs and MLCs from other districts will be appointed as incharge for each constituency and they will stay put in the segments from February 13 to February 17, KTR said.
Ministers, MLAs, MLCs and other public representatives from Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts participated in the meeting.
