HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) began constructing a new service road from the Cyber Towers flyover landing to Yashoda Hospital. As a result, traffic is expected to slow down from the flyover endpoint to the ROB flyover near Yashoda Hospital from 14 September to 30 September 2024.

To manage the anticipated congestion, the Cyberabad Traffic Police implemented diversions along several routes to maintain smooth traffic flow. Commuters travelling from Cyber Towers, 100 Feet Junction, and Kothaguda towards JNTU and Moosapet were advised to use alternative routes.

The Cyberabad Traffic Police outlined the following alternative routes:

1. Vehicles from Toddy Compound towards JNTU and Moosapet via 100 Feet Junction were diverted at Parvathnagar Junction and rerouted via Khaithlapur Bridge.

2. Traffic from IKEA, Cyber Gateway, and COD Junction heading to JNTU via the Cyber Towers Flyover was allowed to proceed directly to JNTU without diversions.

3. Vehicles travelling under the Cyber Towers Flyover towards JNTU were diverted at N-Grand Hotel. They were instructed to proceed via N-Convention, take a right at Jain Enclave, and use the back road of Yashoda Hospital to merge onto the ROB Flyover.

The Cyberabad Traffic Police requested commuters to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid delays and congestion during the construction period.
