GAJWEL: The newly-elected Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLAs met party president K Chandrashekar Rao at his farmhouse in Erravalli of Gajwel on Monday.

The MLAs who met the working president KT Rama Rao at the Telangana Bhavan, immediately left for the farmhouse. Ch Malla Reddy and a few others drove directly to the farmhouse.

KCR sat with the BRS leaders, congratulated the newly elected MLAs, and also spoke with the senior leaders and his former Cabinet colleagues who went there to meet him. They all sought the blessings of their mentor.

BRS to elect legislature party leader

Addressing the leaders that met him KCR said that even though the Government had constitutional validity till January 16, the BRS respected the people’s mandate and left the reins in the hands of the winning political party. “We will cooperate with the new Government, We will wait and see. Very soon we will have a party meeting and review the election results. We will have to elect a legislature party leader too,” the BRS Chief said.

KCR left for Erravalli on Sunday in a private vehicle, after sending his resignation letter to the Governor.

Meanwhile, the senior party leader from Gajwel Vonteru Pratap Reddy handed over the certificate for winning the Gajwel seat to KCR at his farmhouse.
