NIA intensifies probe into Popular Front of India case, announces reward on accused
It may be recalled that NIA had already arrested many people across the country in this case and declared 11 people from Kerala, five from Karnataka, and five from Tamil Nadu as most wanted.
NEW DELHI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has intensified the investigation into the Popular Front of India (PFI) case and issued an advertisement asking anybody who comes across the most wanted to inform the police via WhatsApp number 9497715294.
The NIA mentioned the names of three accused belonging to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, identified as Abdul Salim of Islampura, Jagityal District, Telangana, MD Abdul Ahad Alias MA Ahad of Mallepally, Nizamabad, Sheikh Ilias Ahmed of Khajanagar, Buchireddypalem mandal, Nellore District.
It may be recalled that NIA had already arrested many people across the country in this case and declared 11 people from Kerala, five from Karnataka, and five from Tamil Nadu as most wanted, along with the aforementioned three accused from Telugu states.
The NIA has announced that it would reward those who inform about the whereabouts of the accused.
