Noted Telangana singer, BRS leader Saichand passes away; KCR, KTR, Harish condole death
Saichand died of a heart attack at his farmhouse in Karukonda of Bijinepally mandal of Nagar Kurnool district on Thursday morning
HYDERABAD: Noted Telangana noted singer and songwriter and Telangana State Warehousing Corporation Chairman Saichand died of a heart attack at his farmhouse in Karukonda of Bijinepally mandal of Nagar Kurnool district on Thursday morning. He was 39 and is survived by wife and two children.
Saichand, who along with his family members went to Karukonda, fell ill on Wednesday midnight in his farmhouse and was brought to a private hospital in Nagar Kurnool for treatment. However, the BRS student leader died of a heart attack on his way to Gayathri hospital.
Minister for Medical and Health T Harish Rao rushed to visit the body and pay homage Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and BRS working president and minister K Taraka Rama Rao expressed deep shock over the sudden death of Telangana singer, public artist, and Chairman of State Warehousing Corporation Saichand. KCR expressed his grief saying that Saichand's death at such a young age deeply pained him and said that Telangana society lost a great singer and artist. The Chief Minister said that the untimely death of the young leader was a personal loss to him and Telangana. He died at a time when he actually had a bright career ahead.
Recalling the memories, KCR said that Saichand contributed a lot to Telangana movement and said that there was not even a single meeting of his had happened without Saichand.
Stating that the loss of a young leader who ignited the spirit of Telangana in the people was unbearable, the Chief Minister said that the God should give strength to the family members to endure this and assured of all support to the family.
KTR expressed his shock and deep sorrow over the demise of Saichand. Stating that Saichand's death shocked him, KTR expressed grief and sorrow over the untimely death of the young leader. He said that death of Saichand, who rendered unforgettable services to the Telangana movement and Bharat Rashtra Samithi Party with his songs, was a great loss.
The minister said that Saichand’s Sings immortalised him in the hearts of Telangana people and expressed his deepest condolences to his family members.
