Oil, CBM exploration in Telangana; DGH invites bids

HYDERABAD: The Director General of Hydrocarbons (DGH), an Indian governmental regulatory body under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has invited bids for exploration of oil, natural gas and coal bed methane (CBM) in 16 regions across the country including Telangana.

Amongst the regions invited for bidding, three regions are located in Telangana. Interestingly, the bids are also being invited for the first time to explore and produce CBM deposits in Telangana. The potential bidders will be selected through a global tendering process.
