One passenger burnt alive , 10 injured in bus accident on NH 44 near Beechupalli

GADWAL: One female passenger was burnt alive and 10 others were injured in a bus accident on National Highway 44 near Beechupalli of Jogulamba Gadwal district just after midnight on Saturday when a Chittoor-bound private travels bus from Hyderabad turned turtle and fell into a ditch.

According to the information reaching here, the lady passenger could not escape the fire that erupted after the accident occurred and was burnt alive inside the bus, while all other passengers escaped safely. Fire tenders arrived and doused the fire. Police who are investigating the reasons for the accident said that the driver might have fallen asleep at the wheel. All the injured were treated at a nearby hospital.
