Only strong regional parties have power to stop BJP, not Congress, says KTR
"The only forces who are able to hold off the BJP are those that are led by strong leaders such as KCR Ji, Mamata Ji, Kejriwal Ji and Thiru Stalin. Congress is no longer a viable alternative to BJP," said KTR.
HYDERABAD: BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) has said that he agrees with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's criticism about the Congress of not having the might to take on the BJP at the Centre.
On Friday, Mamata had lashed out at her I.N.D.I.A ally Congress, doubting the ability to of grand old party to win even 40 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Expressing her disappointment after learning about Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra passing through Bengal through unofficial channels, she said, "They have come to do a programme in Bengal but did not even inform me as an INDIA bloc member. Why did the rally not go through Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi or Allahabad. If you have guts then go and fight BJP. You lost your own seat (Amethi)."
Reacting to Mamata's comments, KTR tweeted, "Instead of taking on the BJP in UP & Gujarat (where it is a direct face-off) and making something out of it, Congress ends up playing spoiler by fighting against other parties. Fact of the matter is the only forces who are able to hold off the BJP are those that are led by strong leaders such as KCR Ji, Mamata Ji, Kejriwal Ji and Thiru Stalin. Congress is no longer a viable alternative to BJP."
