NIZAMABAD: Telangana Minister for Roads and Buildings Vemula Prashant Reddy, after inaugurating a 10,000 metric-tonne capacity godown in Secundrapoor of Balkonda constituency, said that the paddy production as well as the area of irrigated land have tripled because of the efforts made by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

On Wednesday, the Minister inaugurated a godown in Secundrapoor village of Balkonda constituency in Bheemgal Mandal which has the capacity to store 10,000 metric-tonnes of farming produce. The godown was built with a budget of Rs 8.4 crore. He said that such a godown was never available anywhere near that mandal.

He also said that farmers of Andhra Pradesh and other States want KCR to be their leader as he was a farmer-friendly leader and implemented many schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima, 24 hours free electricity, irrigation, drinking water etc, like no other State.

“Chief Minister KCR brought a major change in the lives of the farmers in the last eight years. The farmers in our State and other states can see the work done by him and people across the country are appreciating him. Some people use religion as propaganda and some try to speak against him in this State. However, only the work he has done for the people should be noticed. Even during COVID, the development work did not stop. That is the sign of a good leader,” Vemula Prashanth Reddy said.
