Panchayat workers protest over unpaid wages in Nagarkurnool

NAGARKURNOOL: Panchayat workers in Pentlavelli, Nagarkurnool district, staged a protest in front of the Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO) office, demanding the release of their salaries, which have been pending for three months.

The workers expressed their frustration at not receiving their wages on time, stating that it has become difficult to sustain their livelihoods. Some workers voiced concerns about how they would celebrate upcoming festivals without their salaries, highlighting the severe financial strain they are under. They urged the government to take immediate action and clear the backlog of their wages.

The protest continued peacefully as the workers called for the authorities to address their plight and ensure timely payments in the future.
