Pawan Kalyan my elder brother, close to Jagananna, Lokesh too: KTR
KTR said, "If AP people think that KCR can challenge Modi in Lok Sabha, we will focus on that. If they think we can prevent the sale of Vizag Steel plant, we are game"
HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president working president K T Rama Rao pulled a fast one on all political parties in Andhra Pradesh. His veiled attack filled with sarcasm hit all of them on the weakest link ‘support Modi policy’ of each party.
Responding to a question by TV9 Managing Editor Rajinikanth on whether the BRS would make a foray into Andhra Pradesh politics, KTR said, "In Andhra Pradesh, all the three parties are supporting Narendra Modi. You never know. If the people of Andhra Pradesh feel that KCR can provide a suitable alternative to Modi and safeguard their interests, you never know what's in store. We are not bothered what they are doing in state elections. If AP people think that KCR can challenge Modi in Lok Sabha, we will focus on that. If they think we can prevent the sale of Vizag Steel plant, we are game."
To a pertinent question whether the BRS would not contest Assembly elections, KTR parried it saying, "We never know."
On being questioned if he would get into an alliance with actor and Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan, KTR said, "I share some common interests with him. He is like my elder brother. He also likes poetry like me. When we meet, we discuss these things. However, please do not connect us politically. His politics are different."
He also said, "I have very good equation with Nara Lokesh. Similarly, Jagan Anna is also close to me."
