People have already decided to elect KCR as hat-trick CM, says Harish Rao

JANGAON: Telangana Minister for Finance and Health T Harish Rao came down heavily on opposition parties that are releasing poll-time declarations, saying that the people have already given a self-declaration to elect K Chandrashekar Rao as Chief Minister for the third consecutive time.

Addressing media at Palakurthi on the sidelines of the foundation laying ceremony for the reconstruction of the Valmidi temple on Monday, Harish Rao said that people of the State had decided to vote for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party that delivered more than what it promised.

“On the other hand, opposition parties are promising the sky only to get electoral benefits. They will forget what they had promised after the elections,” he added.

He said that it was only the BRS Government in the entire country that granted Rs 4,000 pension to the differently abled.

“If people elect us one more time, such schemes including 24-hour power will continue. If the opposition wins, these schemes will vanish,” he said.

“The BJP on the other hand is raking the one country one election agenda only to divert attention off the people from its failures,” Harish said. He said that people in the southern part of the country would teach the BJP a befitting lesson for the stepmotherly treatment meted out to the region.

“No amount of ‘Jamili’ or jumbling will help the BJP, as the BRS is going to play a key role in the political arena in the State and at the national level,” the Finance Minister added.
