NALGONDA: Police family members staged a protest in front of the 12th Battalion in Narkatpally, Nalgonda district, raising concerns over working conditions faced by lower-level officers. The protesters claimed that excessive pressure was being placed on these officers regarding their duties.

The demonstrators demanded that police personnel's work hours be reduced to eight hours, similar to the practices in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. They also urged the Telangana government to implement the "Eco Police" system, as Chief Minister Revanth Reddy promised during election campaigns.

The protest caused significant traffic disruption on the Addanki-Narkatpally road. Local police arrived to manage the situation and clear the traffic.
