Ponnala Lakshmaiah to attend Nobel Peace Summit in Mexico
Former minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah will attend the summit from 18th to 21st September.
HYDERABAD: Former minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah has been invited to attend the 19th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, which will be held in Monterrey, Mexico, from September 18th to 21st. Ekaterina Zagladina, President of the Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, extended the invitation.
The summit, themed “Peace for Progress,” will focus on using peace as a driving force for economic development, social justice, and environmental sustainability. Ponnala expressed his deep honour and excitement upon accepting the invitation. He shared that the event's theme resonated with his beliefs and looked forward to participating in panel discussions, workshops, and collaborative projects.
Ponnala also highlighted his enthusiasm for the Youth-Track activities, which aim to inspire future peace builders. He conveyed his gratitude to the organisers and is eager to experience the hospitality of Monterrey.
